What are RSS Feeds?
Feeds, also called RSS feeds, are a mechanism for taking content published on a website and syndicating it. (syndication = publishing a site's content in locations other than on that site). Subscribers can view feeds (content) in a variety of ways, for example via email and by using news readers. Depending on how a site's feeds are set up, visitors to a site can subscribe to either all content or only to content from specific pages.
What are Widgets?
Widgets (also called badges) are on-screen tools embedded in web pages. Popular examples of widgets are site visit counters, clocks and event countdowns. The widgets on this web page can be easily installed on your website in just a few clicks.
