Test your toys (and more) for toxics
(Please arrive as early as 6:00 PM for testing)
Do you have products that you'd like to have tested for toxins? Bring the products to the meeting and we will test them for lead and other toxic chemicals.
What products can I test?
 Bring products to the Annual Meeting that you would like to have tested for lead, cadmium of brominated flame retardants. Some examples of products that you might want to have tested:
- Anything made of vinyl such as children's toys, shoes, raincoats, lunch bags, handbags, backpacks (Test for lead, cadmium.)
- Children's jewelry (Test for lead)
- Pillows, foam cushions, stuffed animals, children's PJ's (Test for Brominated flame retardants.)
- Ceramics such as flower pots, dishes, or coffee mugs (Test for Lead, Cadmium.)
- Electronics (Computer parts, video game controllers, etc.) (Test Brominated flame retardants.)
Other products can be tested as well, feel free to bring them to the event or call if you have questions.
Testing will be done with a portable X-ray fluorescence (XRF) meter. An x-ray beam analyzes and reports the elements in the product within 30 seconds. The meter can test products for lead, cadmium, bromine (indicating brominated flame retardants), and Chlorine (indicating PVC/Vinyl)
The Annual Meeting is free, with free and ample parking and shuttle service to and from public transportation upon request. Help us keep this a fragrance-free event by not wearing perfume or fragrances.

- Take the Mass Pike (I-90) to exit 12. Take Route 9 East to the Edgell Rd/ Framingham State College exit.

From the East or Route 128/I-95:
- Take the Mass Pike (I-90) to exit 13. Take Route 30 West to Route 9.
- After the first traffic light take the exit ramp to Framingham Center.
- Go right on Edgell Rd.
- Plymouth Church is approximately 1/4 mi on the right hand side.
