Recruiting co-sponsors for the Safer Alternatives Bill in 2011
The Safer Alternatives Bill, sponsored by Representative Jay Kaufman and Senator Steven Tolman, will create a pragmatic and flexible program to replace toxic chemicals with safer alternatives, wherever feasible. This bill has been before the legislature for eight years now but has never been brought to a vote in both houses. It's time to make it happen this year! Please call your state legislators today and ask them to co-sponsor the bill.

If your legislator has not yet co-sponsored the bill, ask him/her to do so:

This is a critically important bill to protect our health from toxic chemicals and keep Massachusetts businesses competitive on the global economy so please make it a priority to see that it passes in the coming session."
